The first picture is of Jake on Christmas Eve at Mema and Papa's house. This is my far where he gets his most gifts. Hence the goofy smile on his face. Jake also decided in December that he wanted to grow his hair out. So, I told him if he did he would be responsible for washing, brushing and styling his own hair. He said "deal". This was one of his first attempts at styling his own hair.
This photo is of Jake on Christmas morning. He had just opened his stocking and I made him pose in front of the tree before he could open all his presents. Hence the hurry up and take the picture look on his face. Gotta love his PJ's though, he does.
The day after Christmas we went up to Happy Jack to Aunt Lori and Uncle Derek's place. There was lots and lots of snow. We went sledding. As you can see by Jake's face he loved playing in the snow and he loved sledding. He however did not like having to change in and out of all the snow gear and walking in the high snow. After having changed in and out of snow gear a couple of times he said "why would anybody ever live in this stuff?"
