Jake has been swimming everyday and always gives me a hard time about doing his hair. So, I took the clippers and shaved it off. I always cut his hair so he thought I was just doing the usual haircut. He was in shock when he saw it. He looked at himself in the
mirror for about 10 minutes. Then he came out and said he didn't like it and I was never to do that to him again. I think it is great, it dries immediately after getting out of the pool, I don't have to style it and I won't have to cut it again all summer!
Jake has taken to the water like a fish. He loves swimming and is actually a very strong swimmer. He has been bugging us for a snorkel mask and flippers for a while. His goal is to never have come up out of the water. I thought it would be hard for a 7 year old to get the breathing down right, but he caught on right away. I have never seen someone love to be underwater so much. He has come a long way from sitting on the side of the pool crying during his first swim lessons.
