Halloween 2009

We found this SpongeBob costume for Halloween, Jake was so excited. I am hoping we get a couple more years out of it! Last year when carving the pumpkin Jake couldn't stand the way the insides felt, so Matt and I ended up doing most of the gutting. This year I told him we wouldn't get a pumpkin unless he gutted it. He agreed to doing most of the gutting. Jake is very sensitive to smells, just like his dad. He couldn't stand the smell and held his nose like this most of the time.

This is video of Jake playing goalie at one of his soccer games. He really does a good job on defense, he concentrates on the ball better. That is his best friend Malick giving him a high five at the end.

Jake's First Soccer Game

 
Jake played his first soccer game today. He did really well when he played the guard position or goalie. When he was on offense was a different story he doesn't know how to be aggressive with the ball. But that is Jake for you, not an aggressive bone in his body. Hey someone has to play defense. In this picture he is playing goalie and he was really concentrating on the ball that was coming close.
